Direct solenoid valves
Back
Direct-acting solenoid valves, poppet valves, electro-pneumatic valves, and pilot-operated valves are valves with low flow rates but very high responsiveness.
Often used to control pneumatic actuators, normally closed or normally open depending on the logic used.
The advantage of a direct operated valve is that it does not require a pilot pressure differential as explained on the page direct/indirect valves
